About Us

Adopt-A-Missionary International (AAMI), is a non-profit, non-political, and non-denominational project. The primary objective of AAMI is to promote a worldwide program of providing financial support to Christian missionaries who are fully devoted to the mission work of spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This is not limited to any church denomination or national origin. As one body, we are responsible to carry the task of the Great Commission for each other. Not everyone is called to the field, but everyone is called to participate by giving financial support to the ones who are specially called to reach out to those who are beyond our reach.

Our Vision is to promote cooperation among Christians from different denominations and culture in order to provide financial support to struggling Christian missionaries with their basic needs and resources, so that they may effectively share their faith and preach the Good News to all men.

We Are Different from any other missionary-sending organizations. We only deduct the cost of sending the money to our missionaries. In another case, when the missionary requests special handling for the gifts he or she receives from their donors do we charge very minimal fees only to cover the mailing. All operating expenses is considered our service to the missionaries we are serving.

Our Objectives are to establish a network of active Christian missionaries from different parts of the world, that are receiving no help or very little financial support. These missionaries may be a part of various churches or organizations. Qualified participation is based upon both purpose and need. These missionaries will be put out for adoption to any number of families, individuals or groups. Each adopter can adopt any missionary of their choice.

There are no minimum amounts required to adopt a missionary. However, the adopter will be required to commit to a minimum amount of support each month. The missionary in the network will receive the funds in proportion to their needs. When the financial needs are met, the missionary will no longer be available for adoption. This is to allow other missionaries to come into the program.

An adoption format is used to foster personal relationships, involvement, accountability and commitment between the adopter and the missionary.
